In 2018 Damian Elwes was invited to exhibit his paintings of artist studios at the Musée en Herbe in Paris.

The show was very interactive including a life size VR painting of Brancusi’s Sculpture Studio and Duchamp's Wheel. This bicycle wheel references more than 30 different Duchamp artworks. Children were constantly playing with it.
Picasso's Studio at Rue Grand Agustins, 2018, (Damian painted this on the day before the exhibition opening because soon afterwards this space was turned into a hotel.)
Each morning a different school from Paris visited the show. Children were given Sherlock Holmes hats and a magnifying glasses. They examined the paintings to help find the artist’s palette.
The exhibition featured a panoramic painting of the ground floor of Picasso’s Villa in Cannes as it was in January, 1956.
