“During the Palisades Fires some of my favorite paintings of flowers from my earlier life in Colombia were destroyed. This prompted me to begin a new series which I am working on as well as the studio paintings. Here are a few of them. They are large and experimental and painted with both hands. I explore tiny little worlds within fields of flowers that flourish and then wither and might otherwise go unnoticed.”
